Join us for a true Scottish sailing adventure and the chance to fully immerse yourself in life at sea
From our home port of Mallaig, the world is quite literally our oyster, with the Small Isles of Rum, Eigg, Muck and Canna right on our doorstep. To the South, lies the Isle of Mull, its West Coast is scattered with smaller, outlying islands including Ulva, Staffa and the Treshnish Isles, home to the Puffin Colony at Lunga. To the West, crossing the Minch takes us to the Outer Hebrides of Barra, Vatersay, Lewis, Harris and North and South Uist to explore the hidden white sandy beaches of these remote islands. No matter the weather, we are spoilt for choice with the route we take and the anchorages we can visit. These longer voyages offer the chance for you to become completely immersed in your surroundings whilst enjoying all aspects of life aboard.
While many of the days in our 9-night sailing voyage focus primarily on time spent on the water, we aim to sail for between 4 and 6 hours per day; there is a chance that on these longer trips, we will stop for 2 nights in the same location to give more of a chance to explore ashore. We anchor each night in beautiful, secluded locations with the chance to get ashore for a couple of hours in each place.
As with all true sailing adventures, our exact route is shaped by the weather and sea conditions. This flexibility allows us to make the most of each voyage, choosing the safest and most rewarding passages on the day. While specific destinations cannot be guaranteed, our experienced crew use their local knowledge to ensure every journey is rich in sailing, scenery and memorable anchorages.
All of our food is freshly prepared onboard, expect delicious local meat and seafood, a fantastic selection of fruit and vegetables, fresh bread from the Mallaig Bakehouse and a selection of cakes, cheeses and desserts. Relax into the rhythm of life on board and leave everyday worries behind. Ride our dinghy ashore to a peaceful beach, walk to discover a hidden cave, or hike to the summit of an island for a panoramic view of an unspoilt wilderness. Travelling by boat enables you to reach places that no one else can go.
We provide a fully inclusive experience where all meals onboard are included in the price of your voyage. Our experienced and adaptable chef is happy to cater to the needs of you and your party, whilst you learn the ropes or sit back and relax with a book and take in some of the most beautiful and remote locations in the UK.
