Join us onboard Eda Frandsen for the pinnacle of our 2027 cruising, on a 9-night voyage from Bergen to Stavanger. Step aboard in the historic Bryggen district of the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bergen, where the cheerfully painted wooden houses with their steep roofs flow right to the waterfront.
Heading south from Bergen, we encounter the beautiful Hardangerfjord region, also known as the “Orchard of Norway”, famed for its bountiful fruit farms and blend of impressive landscape with traditional heritage and culture. Cruise the Norwegian Coastline under sail to the Bay of Islands area of Stavanger, where island hopping commences, ending our voyage with a visit to the iconic Pulpit Rock in Lysefjord.
Our 9-night voyages are centred on time spent under sail, typically sailing for 4–6 hours each day, before dropping anchor, or mooring alongside local communities each evening. Venture ashore by dinghy to explore the many hiking opportunities that this unspoilt region has to offer. There is time ashore at each stop — to explore, wander, or simply take in the stillness of these remarkable places. Travelling by boat allows access to places few ever reach.
All meals are freshly prepared on board. Expect delicious local meat and seafood, vibrant seasonal fruit and vegetables, freshly baked bread and a generous selection of cakes, cheeses and desserts. Life on board quickly settles into a gentle rhythm — one that invites you to slow down and leave everyday concerns behind.
As with all true sailing adventures, our exact route is shaped by the weather and sea conditions. This flexibility allows us to make the most of each voyage, choosing the safest and most rewarding passages on the day. While specific destinations cannot be guaranteed, our experienced crew use their local knowledge to ensure every journey is rich in sailing, scenery and memorable anchorages.
Your voyage is fully inclusive, with all onboard meals covered in the price. Our skilled and adaptable chef is happy to cater to your dietary needs, while you choose your own pace — learning the ropes on deck or curling up with a book as the landscape drifts by.
